What every price on this page means
Every figure below is a starting price for a delivered building package, engineered to standard loads — ground snow up to 35 lb and wind up to 110 mph. C-channel prices assume a 10’ eave height; I-beam prices assume 12’.

What moves the number up

- • Collateral load — anything the structure has to carry beyond itself, such as an overhead crane or a sprinkler system. This applies to I-beam buildings; a C-channel garage or workshop typically carries none.
C-Channel Buildings — up to 40’ wide
Solid-frame construction for garages, workshops, barndominiums, agricultural and light-commercial buildings. Forty feet is the widest clear span we build in C-channel — length extends at that same span, which is why a 40x80 and a 40x100 are both C-channel. Every size below is clear span with no interior columns.

I-Beam Buildings — wider than 40’
Rigid-frame construction for commercial, industrial and warehouse spans. Past 40 feet of width a building needs I-beam framing to carry the span — a heavier system, and the point at which collateral loads start to matter.

Every Northcraft building is fully customized to your exact specifications. The sizes on this page are the ones we can quote a reliable starting price for — they are not the only ones we build. If you need a dimension that is not listed, or you already have your own plans, send them over and we will engineer to those specs rather than a preset.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these the final prices?
No — they are starting prices, and they are honest ones. Each figure is the floor for that size at the stated basis: a delivered building package with stamped engineered drawings, all building components and freight included. Your real number depends on your state's code requirements, your eave height, and what the building has to carry. We confirm it with stamped engineering before you sign anything.
What decides whether I need C-channel or I-beam framing?
Width, not floor area. Forty feet is the widest clear span Northcraft builds in C-channel framing, and length simply extends at that same span — a 40x80 and a 40x100 are both C-channel. It is going wider than 40 feet, not longer, that moves a project to I-beam framing and a different price basis.
My size isn't on this list. Can you still build it?
Yes. These are not fixed catalog sizes — every Northcraft building is fully customized to your exact specifications, including if you already have your own plans. This table covers the sizes we can quote a reliable starting price for. Anything larger than 50x100, or anything with unusual loads, is quoted individually because a table figure would not mean much.
What is not included in these prices?
Doors, windows, insulation, concrete or foundation work, and erection. The building price covers the steel building package. Foundation and erection are priced separately — those services are available; ask for them in your quote request.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 45-60 days from order to delivery, depending on engineering review and current production volume. Your estimator confirms a real date range once your drawings are finalized.
