The warranties described on this website are provided solely by Northcraft Steel (“Northcraft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They are Limited Warranties, not Full Warranties, as those terms are defined under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This means the coverage described is subject to specific conditions, exclusions, and limitations, all of which are set out in full in the Limited Warranty Agreement.

Northcraft is your only point of contact. Every warranty Northcraft offers is Northcraft’s own direct obligation to you, for its entire stated duration. You will never need to contact, file a claim with, or seek any remedy from any other company for a covered issue with your building.

This is a materials warranty. Northcraft supplies building materials only. Foundation and erection are the buyer’s responsibility, performed by the buyer or a contractor the buyer selects — Northcraft has no role in that work, and this warranty does not cover labor, installation, or workmanship of any kind, by anyone, at any time.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES. TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY — INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE — TO REMAIN IN EFFECT, ITS DURATION IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE MATCHING EXPRESS WARRANTY DESCRIBED ON THIS SITE AND IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY AGREEMENT. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY AGREEMENT, NORTHCRAFT MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

LIMITATION OF REMEDY AND DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR A COVERED DEFECT IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS DESCRIBED IN THE LIMITED WARRANTY AGREEMENT. IN NO EVENT WILL NORTHCRAFT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS, OR THE COST OF A SUBSTITUTE STRUCTURE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Governing law. Warranty coverage is governed by the law of the state in which the building is located.
